My Mum has had this green, single flower vase for as long as I can remember and the brown jar is an old bovril jar.
Now for a bit more Wendy Vecchi magic 🙂
I used tea rose ink and embossing powder on the brown jar and for the vase, I used a mix of sky blue and cornflour blue ink and embossing powders.
Love how they both turned out!
A close up of the blue vase.
A close up of the brown jar, finished of with one of Tim Holtz type charms and white damask rub ons from the Apothecary remnant rubs set.
Please check out Wendy’s blog here http://studio490art.blogspot.com for loads of fabulous inspiration.
Thanks for looking x
Absolutely loving all the inks and embossing powders from Wendy Vecchi! Especially her tutorial on faux graniteware!
You can transform something drap to something fab in a few easy steps!
This is a before shot of a small metal churn ( I had three thanks to my friend Midi)
And this is what they look like after Wendy’s fantastic technique! !!! Can not wait to do more! Next up is going to be an old glass vase!
Stay tuned 🙂
